Party Format & Pricing

Minimum booking: 2 hours

Science & Slime parties are designed as a fully structured, two-hour experience, keeping children engaged from start to finish. 

  • Suitable for groups of up to 15 children (larger groups available on request)
  • All children go home with a goody bag full of the slime they have made
  • The birthday child receives extra science-themed surprises

Part One - Science in Action (First Hour)

The first hour explores the hidden forces at work all around us, using exciting demonstrations and interactive activities to spark curiosity and wonder. 

Children will discover:

  • Static electricity
  • Air pressure & gases
  • Magnetism

Hands-on activities and demonstrations may include:

  • Blowing up balloons using kitchen science
  • Making a floating UFO
  • Bouncing bubbles
  • Bottle-popping experiments

These activities are designed to be fun, safe and engaging, encouraging children to ask questions and take part rather than just watch.

 

Break Time

A short break follows while the second half of the party is set up - an ideal time for food and drinks! 

 

Part Two - Volcanoes, Cake and Slime! (Second Hour)

The second half is where the excitement really ramps up.

  • The children work together to build a volcano, with the birthday child triggering the eruption
  • The birthday child then gets to blow out their cake candles using invisible gas they've made tehmselves (don't worry, the cake stays completely safe!)

The remainder of the party is dedicated to slime-making fun, with children creating their own mixtures to take home. 

Slime options include:

  • Clear or opaque slimes
  • A wide choice of colours
  • Scented slimes
  • Mix-Ins such as glitter, sequins, foam beads and shaving foam

Each child leaves with secure tubs and bags containing their creations.

 

Age Suitability & Supervision

  • Recommended for ages 8+
  • Younger children are welcome, but may need a parent or older sibling to help during some activities. 

Activities are adapted to suit the age and ability of the group, ensuring everyone can take part safely and confidently.

 

Venue Requirements

To run a Science & Slime Party the venue will need:

  • Access to a sink
  • A large table(s)
  • Chairs for children to sit while making slime
